Managed recoil rounds
I have not used the 270 managed recoil rounds but used a lot of the .308 managed recoil rounds for my children when they were 12 or so, especially my daughter. The .308 kicked like a .223 and was very manageable.
Took a few mule deer and a couple of whitetails at ranges up to 150 yards. I could not tell any difference in killing power from the full power loads or my 30/06 with 165 grain. When hit right they went right down as quickly as with any other load.
I am fully sold on using the managed recoil loads for lighter shooters and would not hesitate to use them on an elk at up to 150 yards. They let the shooter shoot a lot more without pain or flinch.
My .243 that I first started hunting with kicked a lot more than these loads and did not seem to be as good a killer.
