 Barrel stamped wrong
y'all ever have this happen? my Remington 870 slug gun. has the short barrel w/ rifle sights. but the barrel is stamped full. called remington yesterday, (prior to going to sight it in) and was given the bore size of the barrel. mic'ed it and it is an open bore. so, i was good to go. just seems like stamping a barrel wrong could lead to some serious problems. it was not the original barrel (came with the 24" vented rib), but it is a Remington barrel.
