Just found this site. My seasonal hobby is in full swing. Already killed a doe with my bow, and found it! It gets thick down here in these swamps and THE EDGE is where the action is so they dont have to go far to get down in boogerbottom bay, but with buttwipe to mark their bloodtrail and a machete to chop my way back outta there, and/or pruners. My other interests are wilderness survival, kayaking, camping, guitar and cave diving. Ill be glad to share my recipes, tactical tricks and 30 years of hunting wisdom. Florida isnt known for its deer hunting but the kill afterall is secondary from the experience and memories which I record in a journal regularly.
Hey thanks guys. Wow look at yalls post counts. Ive got 2000 posts on Survivaltopics.com but havent done much cyberhunting. Hunting is different here. Bug tamer and thermocell is your friend during bow season for sure.
Hello from NC. I went down to the keys a couple of years ago and went kayaking through the mangroves. It was a blast. I hope you are taking advantage of all the good fishing down there.
Im in North Florida and dont fish much. In the summer I mainly scuba dive. Lots of places to kayak too. Rainbow River is my favorite kayak river. Absolutely gorgeous.
