What is amazing to me is that the NFL handed down a 1-year suspension to Adam "Pacman" Jones, and they're not going to do anything to Vick until he's convicted of something.
Sure, Pacman has had lots of run-ins with the law, but as of yet he has not been convicted of anything. Vick hasn't exactly had a posterboy NFL career either though:
- Most recent indictments (dogfighting, cruelty to animals, etc.)
- Weed incident in the airport
- Giving the finger to his own home crowd
- The "Ron Mexico" situation
Gotta love the double standards that Goodell is putting to use here.
