Hi all,

Went out Saturday morning and got lucky. I shot this one at 0630 North of Leesburg, VA, on wet, overcast and rain-threatened hunt. Just as the light got good enough to shoot something, this bruiser walked out of the woods and down the hill toward my stand. I'm pretty sure he was tailing some does I'd heard splashing through the creek minutes earlier. He's the best buck I've ever shot, and I also found the bullet later when I was skinning him.

B&C Score

I went to the Boone and Crockett site and here's what I got, for anyone who's interested:

Category: Whitetail
Number of Points: 8
Greatest Spread: 18 4/8 inches
Total Deductions: 3 3/8 inches
Final Score: 132 2/8

Figure take off a couple of points for me not knowing what I'm doing and wishing it was bigger than it is.
