A henned up tom can be shot. If you can get where you hear the hens Pick out the one with the biggest mouth and duplicate her vocalizations in sounds and cadence. Sometimes this makes them mad and they will come to set the pecking order. A lot of the times they will bring the tom in tow. Late season here is they gobble on roost and then shut up for the rest of the day hens or not, more or less. Longer sits, use your eyes more. use a gobble call in with your hen calls but with less calling. thats about all I got.
