Default 700 recall

I bought a new Remi 700 in march of 2014. It's not a volintary recall. I went on line to check out the serial #. Mines on the list, They said, Do not shoot it. Remi sent me a box to send it back in, paid shipping, free repair. They are in a law suite. At least they are making good on a great rifle. Time wait for return is any were from 3-6 weeks. From what Remi said , they think problem has to do with epoxy build up on a trigger componant. When it gets cold out, it contracts and causes the rifle to go off when you flip the saftey off to shoot. I still like Remi's.
I hunt game, I don't harvest. SPQR.
