And therein lies the flaw in your entire argument. It's not a known defect, or the recall wouldn't be voluntary. It's a suspected flaw that may (or, therefore rationally, may not) affect many of the rifles made during this time period of the voluntary recall.

And besides a totally flawed argument, if the rifle is never loaded, with a finger on the trigger, and pointed where it shouldn't be pointed, then no harm can come to any of my sons, daughters, friends, relatives, associates, or anyone standing close by. You are simply letting emotion influence your argument because your logic isn't supportive by the facts of the recall, or of firearms safety.
