Wishing throat cancer on someone is not a very loving or Christian thing to do. All because the person annoys you. I would hope you can understand it not being received in a loving Christian manner.
In order for one to be loved they must first be lovable.
As far as turning the other cheek, sounds good to me. I'm all for fresh starts, life's too short for grudges, hate, and discontentment. Let bygones be bygones.
