While we're on funny stories: One year I said why don't we deduct an antler point for the buck pool if you have to shoot it more than once. Don't you know my first shot was high in the front leg and required a second shot. After hanging the buck and leaving for town I came back and the guys had hung a red cross sign on the buck, put a set of cruches under the front legs then shoved a buchers knife in the deer's throat. You don't don't want to suggest rule changes and be the first to have them used against you in our camp.
Here's my fun: One of the guys set his brand new Browning $150.00 boots too close to the fireplace and burned the toes out of them. When I got home I bought a pair in his size, carefully cut the toe areas out installed hinges on the cutouts. We presented him the new boots in camp infront of about 11 of us. We laughed so hard we were crying and rolling on the floor. Camp stories you gatta love them!
